I approach counselling with openness, humility, curiosity and sensitivity, aiming to create a trusting and non-judgmental environment. Practicing with integrity and confidentiality is central to supporting these values.

Yonina Izsak
The most meaningful and transformative moments in my life have been based in authentic connection with others, being seen and accepted for where I am in my process, without judgement. I continue to experience this with people I meet along the way, and fostering this space for them has solidified my interest in collaborating towards their personal growth.

Ketevani Gorgiladze

“Having sessions with Chrys [...] has helped me immensely in my healing journey. Right from the first session, she created a safe space and made me feel at ease to be vulnerable. Her way of combining an analytical approach with genuine empathy has been not only refreshing but also genuinely valuable as a transformational experience. I feel genuinely fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her.”

“Working with Cas has been a truly transformative experience. His guidance and counselling have helped me make meaningful strides in both small, everyday ways and in the bigger picture of my mental wellbeing and self-understanding. I believe that true understanding and healing come from exploring the interconnected layers of our inner world. My journey began with studies in psychology and dance, which taught me how our minds, emotions, and bodies process experiences and relate to others. This work, combined with my experiences volunteering with marginalized communities, showed me the importance of building a balanced self and nurturing authentic, embodied connections. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect. I'm committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel empowered to explore your experiences and pursue your goals. By tuning into what's most relevant for you, I combine different therapeutic approaches to help you process past and present experiences, develop greater self-compassion, and live a more authentic and meaningful life.Together, we'll navigate your healing, self-discovery, and transformation.

I facilitate an empathic space from which we embark on your healing journey. By exploring emotional, mental and behavioural patterns, you gain insight into your inner layers and workings. Compassionate and non-judgemental enquiry into the meaning and purpose of these patterns, allows you to process the what is no longer serving you. We’ll further explore your values and help you align yourself with them to live a more fulfilling and personally meaningful life.My approach is integrative with a transpersonal perspective, which recognises the importance of exploring aspects of your life beyond the psyche. By honouring the interplay between mind, body and spirit, I aim to help you deepen your connection with your authentic self and with the world. By further integrating principles from humanistic approaches and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), we attune counselling to best suit your unique needs. In the end, you are the expert of your life, and I aim to facilitate you in your healing process.

My journey as a counsellor began as a path of self-discovery, a deep reevaluation of what truly matters and, ultimately, a transformation of my career. Rooted in my background as an artist, designer, and former athlete, I bring a unique blend of strength and sensitivity.I support people who feel stuck, who find themselves repeating old patterns or are not sure about their next steps or vision for the future, who are asking deeper questions about meaning and purpose, are navigating major life transitions, career shifts, changes in identity, or relationships— where clarity feels far away and the path uncertain. My role is to create a safe, collaborative space where you can discover clarity, reconnect with your values, and move toward living more authentically.

During our Psychology studies, our education had a heavy academic focus and we felt we were missing practical learning opportunities. In response, Cas and Gergö initiated a peer-support group with the aim of applying these academic theories while holding space for each other’s deep emotions and complex experiences. This was very different from reading scientific studies and it expanded our understanding of what it means to offer valuable support. Over the subsequent years, we each incorporated this rich experience into our work with clients and continued to support each other as we grew as therapists. As practicing therapists, we became acutely aware of the mental health treatment gap – that people in search of psychological support often struggle to find affordable care or are met with lengthy waiting lists. On the flip side, there is a lack of opportunities for students with the relevant knowledge to develop their skills and offer such support for people. And so, Bridging the Gap was born…
Our mission is to help bridge the mental health gap by providing accessible, affordable and destigmatised counselling to people in need of psychological support. We work with motivated Psychology students and graduates by providing training, continued education and expert supervision to develop their practical skills. Taken together, we address the needs of both those seeking and offering mental health support.

We create spaces of acceptance, understanding, and empathy to help you feel seen, heard, and supported.

We are passionate about exploring the world and human experience with genuine interest and an open mind.

We choose to face life's uncomfortable truths while striving to bring about meaningful change and personal growth.
